Wire Crochet Necklaces

I have been crocheting up a storm since I took my class in Toronto last week. It is actually kind of relaxing. I had my first order this week from a friend. She wanted a really chunky necklace so this is what I made her.

I barter with a lady named Alex who owns this awesome soap shop in Peterborough called Simple. I make her jewelry and in return I get product from her store. She wanted a long delicate necklace made out of green beads so this is what I made her.

I made myself a turquoise and brown necklace as that is one of my favorite color combos.

I also made a thank you gift for my friend Lisa because she did me a favor. Her favorite color is royal blue and I came up with this creation.

Finally here is the necklace I am giving my mom for Mother's day (hopefully she doesn't read this.) She loves these colors together and wears them a lot. It is great to have a new gift to give her. Something unique and something I have made.

I love the versatility of this art form. You can make these necklaces as chunky or as delicate as you want. My favorite part is combining colors together so that they will pop.

I have been telling people that I am grateful that I have a new skill. Something to share and something that is challenging me. I can't wait till the next class. I will be learning how to make Crochet band bracelets.

These necklaces are for sale if you are interested. My contact info is laura.vanderherberg@gmail.com.

Happy Crafting!
